Music Is My Best Friend

Mr. Eric Ehrenzeller will agree with me on this. (Look! I am actually not at work!)
1. I love listening to the music that I have because I can choose a song to understand the mood I am in.
I have so many different kinds of music and when I choose a song, I know how I am feeling. To me, it's always good to know how I am feeling and evaluate myself; therefore, knowing how I am doing will help me understand who I am and why I am feeling this way. (That's why I write in my journal all the time.)

2. When I feel like no one understand how I feel, I choose a song that describes exactly how I feel.
Do you know how relieving to know that there is someone who knows exactly how you feel? My music does that to me. Of course, I am not saying that the music talks to me or anything but it's like having tons of best friends who can tell how you are feeling and who can relate.

People say that you should listen to something calm and uplifting like church music when you are angry or sad, but that's not for me. That doesn't make me feel good at all because I am not in the mood for that. If I am angry, I am going to listen to the music that describes exactly how I feel even if it's really heavy (but that does describe how I feel, doesn't it?). It makes more sense to me to do that than listen to something that doesn't make you feel better.
