Scripture Study

Today, I remembered what my mission president told me. He said, "If you are bored, read your scriptures." I echo the same words to you: "If you are bored, read your scriptures." Elder Scott said during the October 2011 General Conference that "scriptures are like packets of light that illuminate our minds and give place to guidance and inspiration from on high." I like studying the scriptures meaning I need to study them more so that I will start loving studying the scriptures. I got work to do for sure.
"Learning, pondering, searching, and memorizing scriptures is like filling a filing cabinet with friends, values, and truths that can be called upon anytime, anywhere in the world." -Elder Scott-
I have been trying to figure out the best time to study the scriptures but I have failed miserably so many times. This morning I woke up around 5:30 and read a text message from H who told me that she was "super happy" because she had a good morning study. As I lied on my bed, I thought about what she said and decided to get up so that I could study my scriptures before I left the house. I even changed my alarm from 6:30 to 6 so that I will have plenty of time to get ready and study the scriptures. Sacrifices are necessary and they are so worth it.

How is your scripture study? Do you study them daily? What is your main focus when you are studying them? What/who motivates you?
